The new NAGRA building in Switzerland is a hi-tech purpose-built headquarters for the Kudelski group. Situated next to the original building in Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne. It was inaugurated in September 2006 it is referred to as K0.

Six channel digital audio recorder

Product description

The NAGRA VI has been designed as the natural successor to the NAGRA-D / DII multi-track digital recorders. Based on a totally new design concept, the hardware of the NAGRA VI is software dependent and can be adapted simply through software. Available in a choice of three colours ("Slate" grey, "Midnight" blue and "Burgundy" red) allowing owners of two or more recorders easily identify a particular unit. The NAGRA VI is supplied with two plastic "handles" which serve not only to protect the front of the unit from accidental damage, but can also be moved to their lower position and serve to tilt the recorder for a better viewing angle, and easier access to the functions when working on a table-top or sound cart. A carrying case and shoulder strap are also available for over-the-shoulder operation. The NAGRA VI is delivered with a removable battery box containing a lithium-ion battery pack, a mains power supply and is equipped with a 120GB internal hard disk.

High quality solid-state audio recorder, the ARES-M is principally designed to be used in any ultra-portable recording situation, and can replace MINIDISK©. Its recording media is a 1 GB built-in memory, for the recording of PCM Mono or Stereo audio. MPEG compression allows for longer recording times. The unit is powered by two “AA” batteries, offering more than 10 hours operation. Built-in loudspeaker Stereo monitoring on mini Jack, Stereo Line In/Out and Internal graphic audio editor.
