SPL proudly announce their software design team has transferred the features and performance of SPL's analog processors into the digital domain. Using the latest, most powerful methods available for high-precision modeling of the analog circuit designs, SPL has produced results far beyond pure mathematical approaches. These digital products are so amazingly close to their analog equivalents that they call them The Analog Code™ plug-ins.

Transpressor
 |
M/S Master
 |
Frontliner
 |
The Transpressor is the first processor that combines the two most important dynamic processing techniques: compression and level-independent treatment of transients. By blending these techniques in a single path, SPL aims to void the previous limitations of dynamic processing.
The Transpressor is designed as a single channel unit but you can always couple two in order to do some stereo processing. Our intent to offer a flexible and powerful audio processing tool, based on the interaction between transient processing and compression, is made evident by the freedom to place the modules in any order in the signal path. That way you can compress attacks that have been heavily amplified by the Transient Designer more precisely or enhance the transients once they have been compressed. |
The M/S Master is your key to access the mid and side information of a mix. Discover the classic alternative to the L/R format and adjust the M/S proportions yourself. Insert all your outboard gear via intelligent send/returns and use it for L/R or M/S processing at the touch of a button.
- Stereo image enhancement after mixdown or during mastering
- Reverb and ambience reduction without losing brilliance
- Independent processing of rhythmic elements, pads and other sounds placed off the center of the stereo image without affecting central elements, and viceversa
- Precise EQ processing of elements that sound too dull
- Specific dynamic correction of lively parts
- Dynamic reduction in Side elements without affecting drum transients
|
With the finest ingredients from SPL, the new flagship of SPL's channel strips establishes the basis for world-class recordings – and each of its particular processing stages can be inserted into studio environments or DAWs like analog plug-ins!
The brand-new Frontliner has all tools on board to record vocals and instruments in perfect quality: it merges a preamp, a de-esser, an EQ and a compressor.
Thanks to it's individual analog I/Os, all these powerful, hi-end analog processors can be inserted into any studio by the Frontliner pilot, i. e. to use them also during mixing and mastering. Thus it appears that the Frontliner is not reduced to a frontend device – especially DAW based studios get the chance to integrate high-grade analog processing at any stage of the audio production process. |
RackPack 4
 |
RackPack 4 is a compact and portable module frame that can fit up to four SPL RackPack modules and supply them with power. The four module frame offers a very affordable entry into the RackPack system. Sturdy rubber feet and handle make it easy to move around, while a fitting system also allow it to sit comfortably in a 19-inch rack.
Except for the Preference Mic Pre, all modules can optionally be equipped with I/O transformers from Lundahl.
The following modules are available:
1. Preference Mic Pre – reliable, transparent microphone preamplifier
2. Premium Mic Pre – hi-end microphone preamplifier
3. Transient Designer – the original Transient Designer as RackPack module
4. Full Ranger – graphic EQ with passive coil filters for the whole frequency spectrum
5. Bass Ranger – graphic EQ with passive coil filters for the bass range
6. Vox Ranger – graphic EQ with passive coil filters for the vocal range
7. TwinTube – combined saturation and presence tube effects
8. DynaMaxx – SPL's set & forget compressor, updated for the RackPack
9. Dual-Band De-Esser – Removes sibilants with unique phase cancellation technology |

Cabulator
 |
Transducer
 |
The Cabulator combines three main features for e-guitar amplifiers: power soak, speaker simulation, and D.I. output.
Thanks to the variable power soak you can play any amp loud without being loud – with headphones even inaudible if necessary.
The Cabulator’s fully analog design excludes latencies. It thereby gives the guitarist a direct response with an authentic punch. Even the most subtle guitar amp nuances are reproduced as precisely as harmonics structures and dynamic response of a cabinet.
You always get a top signal in recording quality in seconds – both for direct recording and for a live mix. |
With the Transducer a dream comes true: you can play loud without being loud! The ultimate D. I. solution for guitar amps is the first full alternative to cabinet miking that really rocks.
Via headphones you can play inaudible while the Transducer delivers authentic sounds even of the finest nuances of your guitar amp. Pure, high-quality analog design produces the same load like a cabinet and guarantees direct response with latency-free processing.
You want to record your fully torqued tube amp in a hotel at night? You’ll stay. Everything goes in studio and home sessions, everwhere, everytime – and without a sound booth.
On stage all problems with loud cabs and complex mikings are avoided. The artist can play with in-ear-monitoring at moderate levels, and a perfect signal in recording quality is provided for the live mix!

| Headphone Monitoring Amplifiers |
Auditor
 |
Phonitor
 |
The Auditor is SPL's interpretation of a high-end headphone amplifier. We strictly followed a purist approach to achieve the highest sound quality.
The basis for such high-end developments is our proved 120 volts reference technology. Core elements are the handmade SPL SUPRA op-amps running on 120 volts – it corresponds to approximately twice that of most modern analog audio semiconductor technologies. Through such 120 volts circuitry and processing we reach performance levels far beyond conventional designs in dynamic range and distortion levels, and such technical specifications exceed all known analog or digital standards. |
120V Headphone Monitoring Amplifier
The Phonitor design is SPL's high-end interpretation for what a complete headphone amplifier should be. A well chosen system of Phonitor and headphones can by and large replace loudspeakers and offers all that is required for a successful session long listening periods without ear fatigue.
We therefore refer to the Phonitor as a headphone monitoring amplifier. |

Transient Designer 2

|
Transient Designer 4
 |
The Transient Designer offers a completely new technology for level-independent shaping of the dynamic response of a sound: For the first time it is possible to control the attack and sustain of a signal in a very simple way!
Unlike other dynamic devices, the processing is not goverened by the signal level but rather by its dynamic characteristics, so all signals (loud and soft) are processed equally. |
